DF ALUMNUS CHRIS AYER NAMED PBC COACH OF THE YEAR- Lander University Women's Soccer Coach Chris Ayer, a DF Alumnus ,
was named Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year .
Ayer, in only his second year at Lander, led the Lady Bearcats to a school-record 13 wins and to Friday's second round
of the PBC tournament. The 13 victories surpasses the previous season-best of nine wins in 1999 during Lander's second season.
Lander only won four games in 2006. Tuesday's first-round win against UNC Pembroke was Lander's first-ever PBC tournament
